A Note on Dyeing Mohair & Silk
Both mohair and silk are protein fibres that respond beautifully to acid dyes, taking colour with exceptional vibrancy and depth. The mohair halo and silk core absorb colour slightly differently, creating a stunning dimensional effect in your finished hank — rich colour at the core with a softly luminous halo that glows around it. Use a gentle low-heat acid dye method to protect the delicate fibres and preserve the signature halo.

A Note on Working with Mohair
Mohair is best worked loosely to allow the halo to bloom fully. It is also beautiful held together with a second yarn — try pairing it with any of the Nundle 4 ply or 8 ply yarns for a gorgeous halo effect on garments and accessories.
