Nundle A Grade Stuffing 1 kg

Nundle Collection

100% Tasmanian Merino | Toy Stuffing & Saddle Making

Premium stuffing with a remarkable provenance — the Nundle A Grade Stuffing is made from 100% Tasmanian Merino wool, processed on our historic 1914 carding line at Nundle Woollen Mill. Soft, clean and beautifully prepared, this is a natural stuffing of exceptional quality — a world away from synthetic alternatives and perfect for projects where only the finest fill will do.

Whether you're crafting a handmade toy that will be treasured for years, working on saddle making, or any project that calls for a premium natural fill, Nundle A Grade Stuffing delivers the loft, softness and integrity that Tasmanian Merino wool is celebrated for.

The Story Behind the Fibre

This fibre begins its journey in the clean, cool pastures of Tasmania's northern midlands, on the Youl family's Elsdon property near Perth, Tasmania. Their exceptional 19.5–20.0 micron Merino fleece — the same fleece used in our 8 Ply Feltable, 20 Ply and 72 Ply yarns — is prized for its fineness, naturally brilliant white base and long, consistent staple.

From the Elsdon property, this Tasmanian Merino fleece travels to Nundle Woollen Mill, where it's carded on our historic 1914 line into the soft, clean stuffing you're holding — a natural fill with a paddock-to-project story as pure and traceable as it gets.

Why Makers Love Nundle A Grade Stuffing

  • A Grade quality — finest grade stuffing for premium projects
  • Processed on historic 1914 carding machinery at Nundle Woollen Mill
  • Natural, biodegradable and sustainable — no synthetic fill

Perfect For:
Toy stuffing · Saddle making · Cushions & pillows · Craft projects wherever a premium natural fill is needed

Please Note
As a naturally processed fibre, this carded sliver may contain very small traces of vegetable matter such as seed or burr. This is completely normal in minimally processed wool and is a characteristic of genuine, traditionally carded fibre rather than a defect.
