A Note on Dyeing Cotton
Cotton is a plant-based fibre and requires fibre reactive dye rather than the acid dyes used for wool and alpaca. It takes colour beautifully, producing bold and vivid results with excellent wash fastness. We recommend researching fibre reactive dye methods — such as cold process or hot process dyeing — before you begin to ensure the best possible results.
