Guided Mill Tour

Step Inside a Living Piece of Australian History

Join us for a guided tour through one of Australia's last working wool spinning mills — a rare chance to see wool transformed from fleece to yarn, exactly as it's been done since the industrial revolution of the 1700’s.

You'll feel and smell the wool washed in its raw state, after coming from the wool scour. Experience the hum and clatter of our heritage machines — some dating from early last century — as they transform raw wool into the yarn you'll find in our store, ready for knitting or crocheting.

Tours run for approximately 45 minutes and cost just $5.00 per person — refunded to you on arrival as a store voucher. Spend it on a pair of our famous Nundle socks, or anything else in the Mill store, and your tour is effectively free.

Tours run Monday to Friday, 11:00am and 2:00pm.
